Etta M. Cubbedge, 82, died Friday, July 14, 2006, at her home under the care of Odyssey Hospice. The native of Kentucky had lived in Savannah for the past fifty years. She worked for many years as a cost accountant for Union Camp Corporation.
Surviving are her husband, Robert L. Cubbedge of Savannah and a sister, Helen L. Gheen of St. Petersburg, FL.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 17, 2006, in Bonaventure Cemetery.
The family suggests that remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Georgia Chapter, 201 Television Circle, Savannah, GA 31406 or to a favorite charity.
